It just works. So simple. I can now hide my desktop items when recording screen.

It’s good but its not working with The hot corner or the trackpad gesture to show desktop i keep seeing the icons, it only works when i minmize all the windows, and that’s hard for me..

Could you make it so it hides all folders on all desktops

Works like a hot damn! Turning on the app removes everything from the desktop, using the hot-corners expose desktop function brings back the icons! I love it! Great feature, Ill be using this every day from now on!

I like it a lot, however I think if the developer can make clicking the toolbar icon toogle between hide and unhide, it will be perfect. It is lovely overall.

Oh man, I was really frustrated with El Capitan when it killed my XtraFinder and TotalFinder apps. I really liked the Hide Desktop feature. Then I came across HiddenMe, and voila, it worked! Thank you!!

The annoying details are when you use multiple desktops and switch between them, if the app is running but turn off, the desktops icons flickers. When the app is turn on, it hide all the icons on all the desktops, not only the one you’re working on…

How simple it is, just one click and it’s done. Since I keep my dock hidden on the bottom of screen, I was concerned that it might not work as usual when the icons were hidden, but it works the very same! So glad to find this and not have to use other work around methods. Thanks for making this available!

Had a cluttered desktop; now I don’t.

A neat little application, the circle icon and flash effect are aesthetically pleasing That being said, this functionality is already in the OS, there is a Terminal command to toggle rendering of desktop icons, which is: defaults write com.apple.finder CreateDesktop false killall Finder Note it’s persistent through restart, so to change it back do the same thing but with true instead of false To the developer, I apologize for this review as it probably lowers the amount of people who will download your program. But this is for people who are like me and don’t like to install unnecessary applications or those who couldn’t get this to work

I wish it worked… the mixed reviews are odd - seems to work then not work, work then not….

If you have it hiding desktop items you are not able to change the wallpaper. Needs to get fixed.

I installed and tried this out, but it didnt do anything when I clicked on hide the icons. I guess you get what you pay for.

Does what it says, no problems and free.

Doesnt work in the latest releases of Mountain Lion. Please Fix!
